Bold, bright colours are how best to describe Allyson‘s work. She is deeply motivated by light and colour to interpret her emotions onto the canvas creating art with strong visual impact.  She accredits spending summers at the lake, soaking up the blues and turquoises of the lake and the vivid pinks and oranges of the sunsets as her biggest influence.

Allyson studied advertising art, fashion and photography, all of these have played a strong role in her journey of the arts. With a successful 10 year painted clothing and umbrella line in Toronto and a photography business that captured families, actors and models, Allyson has come back full circle back to her paintings.

You can find Allyson’s work in many private collections throughout North America and Europe and her 80’s clothing line has been spotted popping up again in Toronto vintage shops 35 years later!
