I consider myself a landscape painter and every tree my muse.  If I am not in my studio painting from the thousands of images taken on walks with my dog, then I am in nature painting from life with my Border Collie.  

 

     I am a pastellist and the immediacy of the medium works well with my temperament.  I paint quickly continuously to  trying the capture in my work the awe and wonder that I feel.

 

    My passion to create is the driving force that keeps me painting for several hours every day. I feel a deep sense of gratitude as I heed to call of my muse.
