Born in Toronto and now based in Waterloo Ontario. Mary Murdoch is a passionate abstract painter whose bold, expressive work captures the emotional power of colour, movement and line. Although her early career led her to teaching kindergarten, she discovered her true artistic calling later in life embracing abstract painting in her 60s while studying art in Sarasota Florida.

Her dynamic creations, marked by energetic brushwork and vivid colours have been exhibited widely in Canada and Florida. Earning recognition and awards for their emotive and liberating qualities.
