Meghan is an abstract painter living in Waterloo who loves being outdoors with her family. Painting is an important way for Meghan to regularly reflect on her relationships with other people, herself and God. The relational connections made while painting keep Meghan moving forward and are often echoed in the titles of her paintings.

Meghan explores methods and techniques to bring the natural world to life on the canvas by using organic shapes and spontaneous mark making. She relies on subtle contrast to lead the viewer in, save for a few key moments. Her goal is to make you feel soothed and energized - much like you would after a morning hike through the woods.
